as a creative writer and designer, my two worlds complement one other, each providing inspiration for the other.

I am currently studying for an MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) at UEA, graduating in 2020 (fingers crossed!). As a fashion designer, I have worked in Italy, the US, and the UK for over twenty years. I dabble in scriptwriting and blogging, and i love to make art and take photos.

I write commercial thrillers centered around strong yet flawed female protagonists. my completed first novel, Smoke and Broken Mirrors, a psychological thriller, is set in the fashion industry. I like to combine beauty and horror through my settings and characters and uncover the layers of life underneath the surface. things are not always as they appear.

my Other works-in-progress include futuristic eco-thriller Natural Selection, and Silent Disco, a crime thriller.

When I write, I visualize the scenes and imagine the actions and emotions of the characters. I love rising tension, and peaks of drama. I don’t always write a happy ending, but I will change the characters along their journey through the story.
